Terms of Use
Last updated: October 12, 2026
These terms govern the use of the KidSpark mobile app (the “App”). By installing and using the App you accept the terms below.
1. What KidSpark is
KidSpark is an app for parents and caregivers: it suggests screen-free activities to do with children and interactive stories to read aloud. The App is intended for adults and is not meant to be used by children on their own.
2. Using the App
You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on your own devices for private purposes. The App's content (activity descriptions, stories, illustrations) is protected by copyright and may not be copied or distributed for commercial purposes without the creator's consent.
You choose and run the activities at your own responsibility. Adapt them to your child's age, abilities and safety, and to the place where you play. A child should be supervised by an adult during play.
3. Free version and Premium
Some features of the App are available for free. Full access (Premium) is available as a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.
Payments are handled by the store the App was downloaded from (Apple App Store or Google Play) under that store's terms. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your store account settings, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by the store according to its policies.
For the App downloaded from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies.
4. Stories created by artificial intelligence
The personalised stories feature creates text using artificial intelligence, based on what you enter (your child's name, a favourite toy, a topic). Despite safeguards, the text may contain mistakes or content you find unsuitable – read the story yourself before reading it to your child.
You can report a story you have concerns about directly in the App. The number of stories you can create per month is limited; the feature needs an internet connection and may be temporarily unavailable.
5. Liability
The App is provided as is. We do our best to keep it working properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every activity will suit every child. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage resulting from the use of the App. Nothing here limits the rights consumers have under mandatory law.
6. Privacy
How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the App evolves. The current version is always available on this page.
